Thank you for you comment.
It is not easy to explain how I convert my photos to black and white. I use Photoshop and few plugin to create few layers and blend them into one image.
You can only use the classic technique of Dodge and Burn to do this, but if you use some of plug-in such as Nik Software, you can also bring up some texture to your image.

This is such a great shot! Do you mind if I ask how you process your images? They almost look B&W HDR, but more subtle and less over-processed looking. It's really lovely.
