Few years ago I took some strong interest in my new hobby and I took some lessons with Lambeth adult college where I studied different courses in photography.
I have started with “Black and white film photography” in 2007 with developing techniques and producing print in a dark room, fallowed by “introduction to digital photography” and “film and digital photo fusion” with the tutor and photographer “Elke Block” I pass the last with mention. I also studied HTML web designing course in 2007 at Lambeth College in Brixton awarded with distinction.
My first camera was a Pentax MZ50 I was shooting black and white and colour film, with the 35-80mm and the 80-200mm lenses.
Then later I bought the Canon digital 350D where I used the 18-55mm lens and also the 70-300mm but I recently change for the latest 18-200mm Canon lens.
I learned photography with practice during travels with Families and friends all around Europe and I have few more projects in the future (New York, Nepal).
Last month I have worked at my sister’s wedding pictures. I also did some photo shoots with my wife families and I like to take some pictures of my Kitten.
I read many magazines like “Digital Camera”, ”PhotoPlus”, “Photographer”, “Digital Photo” and many more, I also like the collection of Scott Kelby and I recently read the biography of Annie Leibovitz. I have few practical and technical book about photography (national Geographic, K.I.S.S, Scott Kelby…) I am also receiving newsletters from Photographers and photography school and companies.
Since January 2008 I am a member at Flickr a photos sharing website, where I show my professional work to public. I have shown my work also in many competitions especially at the “Digital camera: Photographer of the year” since 2007 and also at “Pikeo”, “Soaphoto.com” and many more…
I really love landscapes and travel photography but I am very flexible and comfortable with any different type or subjects, (Candid, studio, wedding, fashion…). Always keen on learning.
I appreciate photographer like David Noton , Lee Frost and the Icelandic student rebekka Guoleifsdottir for their landscapes photography. Work of Vincent Laforet with his sumptuous tilt-shift techniques and Morgan silk where shots are amazing. But I do not forget artist like Henri Lartigue, Daguerre or Maurice Guibert for the evolution of the photography in general.
